Positive Steps

Positive steps provide a range of services for vulnerable people. These include housing support, temporary accommodation outreach service, repeat homeless prevention service, supported accommodation service, accessing tenancies in the social care and private rented sectors for vulnerable people in housing need. Flexi Care a new care at home service. Education and training, and STEP a nine week programme developed to engage with vulnerable people about lifestyle issues using action learning techniques. We can also provide a social research and evaluation service.

The MAXwell Centre

MAXcrafts is a social enterprise project run as a subsidiary of the MAXwell Centre, Dundee. The aim of MAXcrafts is to benefit the local community and support the continued running of the MAXwell Centre through the production and sale of craft items. These items are made by volunteers and craft group participants at the centre from materials that are largely donated or come from the centre’s garden. The craft groups provide a range of benefits to participants, including developing new skills, gaining confidence, and socialising opportunities.
