    Just Enterprise : Finance Training for Practitioners : DUNDEE : March 2017

     Just Enterprise finance training courses have been developed to significantly increase the ability of boards and practitioners to make valued and informed decisions relating to the financial management of Third Sector organisations. We are pleased to announce we are running our 2-day Finance for Practitioners course at a venue in central Dundee this March.

     

    Who should Attend?     This course is aimed at individuals within third sector organisations who have budgetary responsibility and/or whose everyday duties include finance. The course is practical in nature and attendees will be required to bring along a calculator and writing materials. All course materials including linked spreadsheets will be made available to delegates following attendance.

    Learning Outcomes       This 2-day course is designed around practical financial solutions that can be employed in any organisation.  Subjects covered will include:

    • Bank Reconciliation
    • Financial Controls
    • Constructing an annual Profit & Loss Budget
    • Constructing an annual Cash Flow Budget
    • Costing & Pricing*
    • Financial Ratios

    *Please note that day two of this course contains material covered by the separate “Costing & Pricing” workshop also offered via the Just Enterprise programme.

     

    When & Where: Wednesday 1st & Wednesday 8th March 2017 (2-day course – 9.30am to 4.00pm both days) – Dundee Carers Centre, Seagate House, 132-134 Seagate, Dundee, DD1 2HB

    Leading Growth programmes are designed to boost an individual’s leadership abilities and confidence, supporting them to meet the challenges and opportunities of developing their organisation, team and self.  Participants will build their support networks through working closely with peers, explore solutions to individual and organisational issues and enhance self-awareness and confidence as they progress in their role.
     
    This 6 day leadership programme is aimed at those working in the third sector who have operational responsibility, are new to a middle management role or are about to move into a new leadership position and who wish to develop their leadership skills and abilities.  This programme will provide you with an awareness of different leadership styles, tools and techniques essential for effectively leading a team or project.
     
    What:    Award in Leadership, ILM Level 5 (SCQF9)
    When:   23rd & 24th February, 22nd & 23rd March, 19th & 20th April
