    Leading Growth for Aspiring Leaders – Impactful learning for third sector leaders and managers
     
    Starts 23rd & 24th February, Dundee
    Leading Growth programmes are designed to boost an individual’s leadership abilities and confidence, supporting them to meet the challenges and opportunities of developing their organisation, team and self.  Participants will build their support networks through working closely with peers, explore solutions to individual and organisational issues and enhance self-awareness and confidence as they progress in their role.
     
    This 6 day leadership programme is aimed at those working in the third sector who have operational responsibility, are new to a middle management role or are about to move into a new leadership position and who wish to develop their leadership skills and abilities.  This programme will provide you with an awareness of different leadership styles, tools and techniques essential for effectively leading a team or project.
     
    What:    Award in Leadership, ILM Level 5 (SCQF9)
    When:   23rd & 24th February, 22nd & 23rd March, 19th & 20th April
    Where: University of Abertay Dundee, Kydd Building, Bell Street, Dundee, DD1 1HG
    Fee:       £300 (£50 per day, subsidised through the support of Just Enterprise)

    • Good Governance” – What is it? – Board, Trustees, Officers
    • How to get the right people? – Where do I find them? What will they do?
    • How to keep them/ replace them? – Strengths/weaknesses/ meeting skills”
    Good Governance is key to running your Social Enterprise effectively, efficiently, legally and safely.
    Come along and lean more.
    Beth Curzon Good Governance Award Development Officer from Dundee Voluntary Action will be leading the session and Jessie Bruce will be on hand to support Beth.
