Getting Started with SPSS
Handling statistical data is an essential part of research. However, many people find the idea of using statistics, and especially statistical software packages, extremely intimidating. This one day practical PC-based course, using a step-by-step approach, will help students new to statistics and new to SPSS to learn how to get started with studying statistics using the software package SPSS.
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Understand how to start SPSS, Enter basic Data and Categorical Variables into SPSS.
- Import and Arrange Data, Define Statistical Variables and Work with Missing Values into SPSS.
- Carry out a statistical analysis that can test hypotheses.
- Manage Results, Edit Output Charts and Tables, Export Results and Succeed Scientific Report Interpretation
