Meet the Buyer

Your chance to meet up with the public sector buyers for the Tayside area.  This is the second year that the event has run and we are hoping for a great response from the third sector organisations.  The event is a drop in, so come along when it suits you.  There will be some presentations as well.

John Sharp Futures Fund Launch

In partnership with John Sharp Benevolent Trust, Dundee Social Enterprise Network are able to provide financial support of up to £5000 to social enterprise new start-ups and existing third sector organisations who are interested in piloting new ideas. In addition, support and resources will be available for business planning,  training, marketing & promotion,  legal advice & services.

The programme will operate from January 2014 to December 2015.  Within this timeframe 3 funding rounds will be delivered giving a combined total of 18 x £5000 awards. Dates for each round will be advertised on dundeesen.org.

Meet the Procurement Officer Information Event

Tuesday 26th November – 9.30am-12.30.

Karen Lawson, Dundee City Council and Andy Hay, NHS Tayside will be available to provide information on procurement and tendering. This will include Quick Notes, Portals and future opportunties for social enterprises in tendering. How to  improve your PQQ (Pre-qualification questionnaire) and your entry on portals will also be covered. If you need / want to know more and be successful in procurement, then this is the event for you. The event is for members, but non members are welcome to apply and can attend if there are sufficient spaces. 

The event is to be held in Tansforms’ new office at 95 Douglas Street, Dundee, DD1 5AZ.
