Creative Dundee

A message from Gillian Easson, , Executive Director, Creative Dundee.

I wanted to let you know that 11 years on since founding Creative Dundee as a blog, turning it into a key creative social enterprise within the city in 2013, providing a significant number of opportunities for thousands of people over the years, and becoming part of Creative Scotland’s Regularly Funded Organisation network in 2018, I’ve decided to take one year out to focus on other life ambitions.

The team/Board and I are hugely excited that Creative Dundee is now recruiting an Executive Director to cover my extended personal leave for 1 year. The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the organisation, connecting and amplifying the city’s creativity.

Please do find the advert on our website / CS’s Opportunities page and do share this with your networks. Also, huge thanks for your continued support over the years – it’s been a real joy nurturing the city and its creative communities, in collaboration with you to, and I look forward to continuing to watch it develop and grow from afar.

My last day is anticipated to be Friday 19th April, and hopefully it won’t be too long until a new Director is in place following this – our brilliant team are focused on delivering our partnership commitments in the interim. I plan to make a guest host appearance at PechaKucha Night on 28th May at The Caird Hall, so please do join us for this celebration – tickets coming next week!

Thanks again and all the very best, Gillian
