Funeral Poverty is a generic term used to encompass a range of issues around the difficulties experienced by people with insufficient funds to pay for a funeral. The Funeral Poverty Action Group has secured funding to explore ways to help people facing funeral poverty.
We are keen to engage with the local community to identify the impact funeral poverty has on individuals and families across Dundee.

Featured in the Evening Telegraph. The team here at Dundee SEN has been temporarily expanded as we host 2 members of staff on behalf of the Funeral Poverty Action Group. Margaret Clark and Diane Cameron are funded via the Social Innovation Fund with a remit to explore the challenges of Funeral Poverty and to investigate whether the social enterprise model could provide a solution here in Dundee.
